Everybody knows Cookies! I'll tell you my brother, you go straight on. No turning Left. No turning right......Just straight on!

Well OK, so Day 4 of my Tassie Tour started pretty much where Day 3 ended. In fact Day 4 started exactly where Day 4 ended, at Cataract Gorge...

See....exactly the same as Day 3....

But it did get better...St Patricks Head

Another sun set.....back on route to Hobart

Spent the last night in Tassie around our tour Guide, Adam's, house before flying onto Melbourne, Victoria for the last leg of my trip.

So long Tasmania

Hello Victoria
I spent my first night in Lilydale with Mike and Ally whom I met in Darwin a few weeks prior. Stayed there for the evening before heading back into the city.

You can take the man out of Southampton, but you can't take Southampton out of the man. This has been everywhere with me since I left England nearly 2 years ago.

I met up with Nat on the Thursday and we stayed with her friends Chelsea and Zoe in St Kilda. And on the Friday, Nat and I borrowed the car and headed to the Great Ocean Road

We thought that this was the start.....turns out it's not, it's just a drive near the ocean!

"Do you want a light house tour?"....."is it free!?!"....."No, no it's not, it's $12"......"No, no I don't want to pay any money to go into a lighthouse, I do not want a tour either, I would just like to see the view from the top, for free, and then leave....thank you."

The Twelve Apostles

The drive back to Melbourne

St Kilda

Why so ssserious!

New work

MCG

Inside the MCG with Nat, Rachel and Sandeep

Collingwood Magpies Vs Fremantle, it finished 107-78

6 of the 7 Australia states concurred now, and 7 of the 8 capital cities.
Spent the last Saturday night in St Kilda, Melbourne bars, and Melbourne's HUUUUGE casino, like Vegas style. Before flying back to "home" (for now) on the Sunday night, after only being delayed a little while...arriving back in Queensland at 10:30 at night to 16c....I love Queensland! For Rosie to come pick me up and take me straight to a lesbian house party......awwwww, aint it just great to be back!

And my shoes made it back to Brisbane...and are still being used!!!
The first Tuesday that I was back, Rosie and I took a short trip to Springbrook National Park....awww back in Sunny warm Queensland.

Purling Brook Falls

The view from the top.....it always helps if you can't read/ignore the $8,000 warning signs.....Haha, na not really, we din't see the sign till after this.....Haha again, like it'd make any difference!

The base of the falls

Underneath the falls

Look at that mullet....we tried for ages to take a photo of her on the sly...but gave up and just took this obvious one for you all to enjoy! Aint I good to you all!
The day finished with more skateboarding...a lot more skateboarding, and only a few new scars....when will I learn......NEVER! The following day was State of Origin Final day, it was 1-all in the series prior to this. We started the only way we know how....QUEENSLAND STYLE...........

Just warming ourselves up.....this has been my play room over the last 3 months....fun fun fun!

Drunken war wounds.....it's not just me that does it! But to be fair, she was really drunk before we even left the house

At full time as Queensland just win 21-20! Exciting stuff!

Rosie doing what Rosie always does.....

I can't get into clubs in Brisbane sometimes when I wear a shirt with a logo, or if I'm wearing a polo shirt, or if Rosie and I swap shirts and I'm wearing her tight singlets (which, for the record, if I was a bouncer I would let me in for sure, like 10 for effort buddy!). But if Queensland win it doesn't matter if I'm wearing a shirt that looks like it's covered in blood! That's Queensland, beautiful, but full of Queenslanders!  For the record, it's not blood, it's maroon paint.
After achieving very little the following day, and managing to break my computer screen, I started planning my leaving Australia stuff and setting up in New Zealand stuff on the Friday. Before the Saturday where I got to play tour guide for Isabell and Angela for their one day visit to Brisbane!

The following week Rosie and I went on another NSW/QLD road trip, first off heading to Nimbin from Brisbane

Look what Maccers does to my wee, it turns it luminous!

Cos we're both poor (and very very practical...obviously) we slept in the car at Night Cap National Park (again), and we finally got to see Minyon Falls, though it did involve going through the heavyish rain.

Rosie again doing what Rosie does

A late lunch at the base

This guy....This guy stole some of our dinner, and he didn't seem too bothered about his actions either!
After our food there we headed back north and spent the night sleeping at Cabarita Beach. Arose in the morning for a refreshing winter's swim (since the car's battery had died so we had plenty of time to chill) had brekkie, then headed back into Queensland to go to Lamington National Park.

Not a bad way to start any day
Can't remember the name of this fall

People really will pinch anything in Queensland

Balanced Rock is apparently unbalanced and should not be approach!

We then had a brisk walk back through the rain, real rainforest weather...it was a brisk walk because...well I won't tell you why, but if you ever wanna know just ask Rosie, I'm sure she'll have no problems telling you why! We then very slowly made our way back to Brissy, aka Reality!

After getting back on Wednesday, I spent most of Thursday sorting out New Zealand stuff (I've nearly reached my self set deadline of getting a job and/or house in New Zealand, so I may be just booking my flights in the next couple of days and just hoping for the best when I get out there).

I also got to play tour guide again on Thursday and Friday, this time for Jet. I've never walked around Brisbane, South Bank and Kangaroo Point so many times. And last night I was back at the Suncorp Stadium, this time for St George Queensland Reds Vs NSW Waratahs with Mike (who I briefly lived with over December) which Queensland won 32-16. Before heading out into the Valley, again!

Just really making the most of the last of my time in Brisbane, as this really should be my last week here, hence why I stayed up listening to Brand New and watching the city getting lighter and lighter this morning.....
